This is to advise our valued customers that General Rate Increase (GRI) on will be effective on all shipments affected on or after 1st April, 2010.
   The quantum is as follows;
 
    ORIGIN     : ASIA
    DESTINATION: DOMINICAN REPUBLIC; PANAMA; PUERTO RICO
        
    EFFECTIVE DATE: 01 APRIL 2010

CMA CGM Group has increase the freight rates between India and Europe. New rate increases will apply to all cargo and commodities moving Westbound between India to Europe and the Mediterranean, effective 1st March 2010

Please note the BAF and CAF quantum on the East Africa trade in the month of MAR as follows:

Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)

Scope:                      All west bound cargoes from China, South East Asia and North East Asia to all East Africa destinations
Quantum:                 USD 550/TEU (USD45/teu increase from Feb)
Validity:                    from 01/Mar/2010 till 31/Mar/2010

This is to advise  all our clients  that the Shipping Lines are implementing General Rate Increase  on consecutive  basis (GRI), resulting in the  increase of Ocean freight .
 
The   sectors are as under:-
 
DESTINATION        :  EUROPE, MED & BLACK SEA
EFFECTIVE DATE  : 1st FEBRUARY 2010
Indian Subcontinent to North Europe/ Med > BUC / CAF / LSF / EMS / EBUC - MARCH '2010

Bunker Charge (BUC)

To the UK, North West Continent, and Scandinavia, including the Baltic Sea Region :

The BUC applicable for the month of    March' 2010  will be USD  379.00 per TEU   
To the Mediterranean:

The BUC applicable for the month of    March' 2010  will be USD   351. 00 per TEU   
 
Low Sulphur Surcharge (LSF)
 
USD 12.00 per TEU to UK, North West Continent, Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea Region

TRADE NOTICE - GRI to CANADA & USWC w.e.f. 15.01.2010

There is an implementation of GRI effective 15th January 2010 sailing.
GRI quantum: $320/20'GP , $400/40'GP , $450/40'HC same is on and above existing freight quoted.

The above will be applicable for all shipments Ex-Nhava Sheva to
Canada Destinations (Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary & Toronto) & USWC (Oakland, Long Beach).

Notice to Trade - REVISION IN DIVERSION FEE - EFFECTIVE DATE - 15TH JANUARY 2010

Client Advisory - US ACD SUBMISSION CUT OFF

US Customs have implemented an Advanced Cargo Declaration procedure since December 2002 demanding filing no later than 24 hours prior to vessel berthing. Compliance with this rule requires that all ACD be received by our Documentation Department no later than 48 hours prior to vessel berthing.
