SRX JURONG BEBARU/380 Running Behind the Schedule due to Heavy Congestion at
Al Sohkna. Expected to arrive Mundra 6th April 2008.
Kindly note that vessels running out of Schedules due to delayed arrivals and sailings, might result into misconnections at relay ports.

| Customer Advisory : Mandatory Requirement Fumigated Containers **IMPORTANT** [Our Ref:AKH34143] |
Dear Customer,
We wish to reiterate compulsory requirement as per IMDG Code of Conduct required before and at the time of return of containers under fumigation.
Fumigated containers are potentially hazardous to human life therefore such containers are manifested as hazardous under IMO Class 9 UNNO 3359. Such containers require special handling. It is therefore expected from shippers and / or their representatives to ensure that proper Fumigation Sticker As Stated Below and attached with this message) DULY Filled is pasted at a location where it will be easily seen by persons attempting to enter the interior of the unit.
The fumigation warning sign shall be rectangular and shall be not less than 300 mm wide and 250 mm high. The markings shall be in black print on a white background with lettering not less than 25 mm high. An illustration of this sign is attached with this message.
Also it is important that correct fumigation declaration is made at the time of placing the booking and valid fumigation certificates are handed over to us containing complete shipper and consignee details along with shipper and consignee contact numbers.
Any deviation from above may attract unbudgeted cost like Haz Misdeclaration / and Operational cost at Port of Loading / Transshipment Port / Discharge Port, which will be on shipper's account.

This is to bring into your kind notice that Inland Haulage Charge has been revised by Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) as a result effective April 18, 2008 Revised Inland Haulage Charges will be applicable. Further to this Terminal Handling Charges (THC) for Haz and Fumigated Cargo will also be higher than for general cargo effective date April 1, 2008.
Customers are advised to check applicable Haulage Charges and THC before booking from our respective sales desk or from our customer care at below mentioned contact points.

This is to appraise our valued customers regarding this weeks vessel updates ex Nhava Sheva terminal as below :
IAX vessel Dubai Express/810 arrived JNPT on 11/0800 hrs nearly 48 hrs behind schedule for which it lost priority window berthing.Per JNPT terminal all vessels are arriving upto tomorrow as per window time and hence no indication of berthing prospects for vessel which has resulted into APL Alamandine /369 gates not opening.
SSX vessel APL Jeddah/074 arrived NSICT per schedule,but due to berthing delay of 10-12 hrs vessel took berth on 11/2018 hrs.Per terminal crane #8 was under maintenance for 8 hrs which will lead to delay of vessel sailing to be expected on 13/03/08.
We regret the inconvenience caused but the situation is beyond our control. |
